What does scripture say about the church?

Ephesians 2:19-22
"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit."

Hebrews 10:24-25
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."

1 Peter 2:5
"You yourselves like living stones are being built up as spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

1 John 1:7
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."

Acts 9:31
"So the church had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit it multiplied."

Scripture is full of the definition of the Church. It is a place of multiplication, a place that allows people to grow in Christ to go out and make disciples.
Empukani has been a cornerstone for the surrounding villages, growing in the Church and in believers. There is an overflow of Maasai people coming to church and our old building only fits about half.
We are setting out to build Empukani a new church that can continue to be the cornerstone and meeting place for generations to come. Would you like to be a part of the multiplication that is happening in Empukani?

Pray: Pray for multiplication. Pray for the contractor, the workers, and every human being that will come into the walls of the church. May the Lord be glorified and seen in every inch of this place.

Give: Giving is a big part of this place. The Lord asks us to give to him, and he will continue to bless. Pray with us, and if you feel led, please give.

We look forward to all the ways the Lord is going to provide for THE Church.
