1993 was the first trip to Kenya for Mission Maasai. This trip was solely focused on helping construct a church building in Empukani for Timothy Moilo, a young Maasai pastor. In the 25 years since, Pastor Timothy’s work has grown to a network of 23 bush churches in the Maasai lands of Southern Kenya. To date, 9 church buildings and a training center have been constructed with the financial support of Mission Maasai. In a recent Church service, 650 people attended, 65 received Christ, and 280 prayed for healing.
Mission Maasai is committed to supporting the spiritual revival that is happening in Southern Kenya. We send teams to help with church construction, to train pastors, and to love on the children at our annual VBS. We support Pastor Timothy’s frequent trips to the most remote bush locations to share God’s love with people who have never heard. This last year we provided Vacation Bible School for over 300 children, 74 of which were baptized during our trip last June. Recent financial support provided the opportunity for 35 pastors to attend a pastor conference where they had the opportunity to be trained, uplifted, and encouraged to continue the good work the Lord has set before them alongside a community of pastors in similar situations.
So many lives have been changed through the church at Empukani, and so much more can be done with the right support. Please consider partnering with Mission Maasai in prayer and funds to continue the growth of this ministry and for the name of Jesus to be heard.Donate
